Magnum + U.S. + Karl Lagerfeld

I was so happy when I watched a commercial announcing that Magnum-the delicious chocolate coated  ice cream bars would be coming to the United States.  Magnum always conjures up images of traveling, as my experience has been finding this treat when in far flung places.  The last being after spending a day at the beach in Bali: we walked up the steps and there like a shining oasis was a vendor selling Magnum ice cream bars, which were ever so refreshing with the humidity and heat radiating off us. Maybe the novelty will wear off once I am used to them being here, but for now I can only feel excitement.

None other than the famed Karl Lagerfeld must think they are pretty stylish too, as he recently directly a film series (commercials) with Rachel Bilson honoring this ice cream bar brand:

    Lol! I hadn't realised that you don't get them in the US! A life without Magnumns is a half-lived life!

    Yummm these icecream bars are so popular in Europe, i always wonder why they have never made it over to North America!

    I had no idea that you don't have this in the USA. It is so popular here in Europe. I think I had one earlier this week actually, haha. Glad you're excited about it =)

    I grew up eating this thing! LOL And we don't have it in Canada also. I just can't wait to buy and eat, eat, eat.... My excuse? I'm pregnant and we all know we have our cravings... LOL

    I didn't realize they don't have Magnum ice-creams in the US, although I have been here for almost 9 years. And oh, they sell Magnums in Malaysia, too!

    Magnums are a bit of a staple here in Australia and let me say I LOVE them too. Didn't realise they had become sophisticated enough for Karl Lagerfeld to direct them in a commercial! Nicolex

    I loved these! I ate them all the time when I was living in the UK :) Can't believe they have a commercial with Karl + Rachel - Magnum is more stylish than I thought! :)

    Magnum icecream is delicious, one of the best. I love the commercial, Karl is such a talent, isn't he? Have you seen the movie Lagerfeld Confidential? It's worth watching. Have a lovely day! :) Ada
