Office Block

It's June and that means that the move-in date for our new house is scheduled for two months out.  While the prospect is exciting, the decorating is daunting.  I have been having severe design block lately, and have also been plagued with indecisiveness.  Big decisions were made in March and items ordered but now I feel stagnated.

I am deciding between two fabric choices for a sofa in our family room, I need to pick out window treatments for the entire house, pick out furniture for our office, and the list goes on.  Then, I went online only to find that the Urban Outfitters Settee I was set on for the office is sold out (not even pictured online anymore).  Anyone know where to find a yellow settee at a reasonable price?  I also need to find a chair for the desk.  Here's what I have so far:

Suggestions welcome!

  1. Is finding a resaonsable settee and recovering it an option? Also not sure what you mean by reasonable but I ask becuase i helped a friend with her bedroom and we ended up finding a well priced settee that was covered in a horrible fabric, bought the blue velvet and had it recovered and it was fabulous and still less than what she had seen other settees in blue velvet for. Just a thought....but a pain I know. Love your direction here, just beautiful!

  3. What a bummer! That yellow settee was really cute. I'm SURE you'll find something even better to replace it (or knowing you, you'll be able to track down the real thing somehow) :)

  12. Love the items you have chosen so far, especially the rug. A shame about the settee, but as suggested, perhaps recovering another settee in your desired fabric/color might be an option.
