Monday Escapes: Destination Poll

So my husband and I are trying to decide where to go on our annual November trip abroad.  We have two completely divergent places in mind.  One is a tropical beach vacation:






In Belize?

And the other is in a place that will be very cold (this sounds inviting right now because of the 100+ heat) with gorgeous scenery.  In fact, we might have to push this trip forward to mid-October in order to enjoy more daylight hours:






In Iceland?


Help us pick!  Where should we go?

    So hard to say. I for one always say, the more beach the better. The pictures of Iceland, though seem breathtaking. I feel like that is one trip with some unique experiences. Of course, the idea of Belize makes me think you would go on some amazing hikes and see wildlife that you may never experience anywhere else. It's hard to choose one over the other. Can't wait to see what you pick!

    Well, if you are completely over the heat, Belize isn't going to cool you down that is FOR SURE! So hot there year round...however there isn't anything as relaxing as checking out on a beach with a book and a cocktail...conundrum!

    The summer lover in me says Belize, but Iceland sounds much more exciting, so I would pick Iceland. And you should definitely pick an earlier date (I know from my hubby's experience in Finland, at the beginning of December!). :)

    Such a tough choice ! I am a huge fan of the beach so it would be hard for me to pass up Belize but those photos of Iceland are stunning ! I dont think you can go wrong !

    It is a tough decision. I am always partial for beaches and this one looks amazing. I think it is nice to break up the Winter with some nice weather somewhere. This winter I am going to Cancun, I usually go to Hawaii, and I know come December I will thanking my lucky stars that I chose some place warm for a week to help break up the Canadian Winter.

    Save Iceland for a girls trip!!! I feel like it'll still be too cold there in October or November. Go to Belize so you can do some relaxing on your vacay! :)
